Hey guys,
Well don't laugh but I broke one of my little toes the other day because I tripped over my husbands tennis shoe while playing with my son. Should I stop doing leg exercises or just tape up my toe and go on?

Tape it and go on......unless it really needs to be looked at by a doc...but they will tell you to keep off it for a while. I once ripped the palm of my hand open on a roffing nail, right to the white muscle. I taped it up and put on some gloves and went to the gym. I did shoulders that day. I bled a little but made it thru it. I try not to let injuries hinder unless they are of the type that need rest etc. Use your best judgement, I would go easy on legs and calves but the rest go for it.

Leg extensions and curls don't require any pressure on your toes.

Good luck and heal quickly...

Hey Marcy. Let pain guide you. If you can handle it with out aggravating it, keep it up. Good luck.

The docs can't do anything for a broken toe anyway. They will just you not to put pressure on it. As far as that husband of yours, tell him to pick up his damn shoes ( my husband leaves his shoes around for me to trip on and I hate it)............lol

I broke my toe last summer in the gym (I was barefeeded and hurt myself against a work out bench...)
It went aaaall blue and it hurts!
I couldn't get my foot into a shoe, but I could still train as before so that's what I did.
Tape up the darn thing and get on going!! (-;
