bulkup=eat a lot. lean muscle mass???

in order to gain muscle mass you have to eat a lot so you consume more calories than you burn

i want to gain muscle mass but i want lean muscle.
what to do? do i have to reduce my caloric intake? do some cardio or what?

If you wanted to bulk up and go for huge muscle mass then you would take in more calories and do minimum or no cardio. if you wanted to get lean muscle mass without adding any bodyfat and maybe taking some off, then you would get just enough calories to support muscle gains and do some cardio, as in 2-3 times a week for 15-20min. I think that explained it.

You answered your own question with the first line. Take in more calories than you burn, a surplus of calories. The cleaner your calories, the less chance of fat accumulation, though you will still get some.

Cardio can help with this(to keep fat levels at bay), but if you are looking for shear mass at all costs may hold you back a bit. I would at the very least do a cardio session a week. Remember, your heart is a muscle too, and cardiovascular conditioning is important.

so i order not to fat accumulation, or at least the less fat accumulation you can, you have to consume a calorie surplus but of "good calories" ( if i may say) and do 2 times (3 max) cardio seesions per week no mro than 20 min

for the sake of the conversation lead that's a yes...
on the nutrition centre here you should do the diary and stuff or at home on paper- count calories/fat/protein intake
make sure you get yourself healthy guidelines and meal planning in place...
don't up your calories by huge stupid amounts- if your diet is sound and you aint putting weight on now- then add one meal a day of 300 calories say. and in a fortnight weigh yourself- if you don't gain none add a meal or 300 more calories... the reverse system for weight loss... the nutrition centre will give you values to work to for your food intake and then read the labels on what you eat or search here.

Please i need some help here...i'm doing exactly what u told me to take I mean my caloric intake but still I'm not gaining mass what should I do? Should I increase it?

Yes, some folks have extremly fast metabolisms for instance, and though the same weight as someone else in the beginning, the same amount of food that makes the other one gain will not be enough for you. Keep increasing your calories(good calories), go up another 300 per day for a while and see if you start gaining. Proceed as needed from there.

bb1 is totally right.

go as he said, 300 cals per day. weight yourself every fortnight to see how tyou going.

dont forget to soncumme weight gainers for better results, for achiving your cazloric needs if you cannot eat what it takes.

not necesarly. but remember to change your routine every 6-8 weeks.

would u advise taking a powerlifting path or more of a bodybuilding path in order to add more mass along with a good diet???
