Welcome to FT Dreamteam. Fill out your profile and it will be much easier to help you. Sit-ups alone will not do it. Diet...the kitchen, is where you'll lose the weight.

Cardio & Diet, burn the fat see the muscle, not too much fat, in your diet and start running, rowing, walking, cycling, cross trainer, step machine, whatever turns you on :)

Combine Muscle Training and Cardio oh of course dont forget about watching the food you eat. For example if you run 4 miles and afterwards you eat a meal @ burger king you basically just ruined what you work for.

Do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach? Gotta say, I don't agree with that.

What's your body using as a fuel source?, what's it drawing from for energy? Without some protein and carbs, your gonna burn up muscle tissue.

The body won't use fat for energy without carbohydrate, if you exercise with low stores, once depleted the body will poach protien from the muscles and use it for energy, it may not be enough for a trained person to notice and will be replaced quickly, but for someone trying too lose fat then they must have that carbohydrate alongside it.:)

If you wake and don't eat for 6 hours(no breakfast or lunch) and do 1 1/2 hour swim followed by a workout, I'd say the reason your at 6% BF is because your on the brink of death and the only thing keeping you alive is the meal you have after the workout. Be realistic, bodybuilders are at around 2-4% at comprtition level and 10-12% when not competing.

i personally would never lift or do any type of cardio without eating first..also, by eating first it will enhance your performance..however there has been debates about this topic..i tend to go with the common sense (eat before u workout)..but if u have a lot of fat to spare, i dont think it would hurt you to vary it up..be sure to eat right after to prevent catabolism
