how do you make your calfs look more filled and not like chicken legs is there any certain way to train them to make them get bigger fast or is there any kind of supplements that are good for that. johnny

calf development is one of the harder muscle groups to make grow. you have to train them insanely hard, day in day out, if you are not genetically gifted with good calves. do both seated and standing calf raises to hit both muscles (soleus and gastrocnemius respectively). train your anterior tibialis (on the front of your shin) too.. try going up on your tippy toes hanging over a step. add weight if its to easy (grab some dumbells).

they respond well to higher rep training (ie i do mine to reps of 15 and have been having pretty good results so far).. and recover faster, so could be incorporated twice into a weekly training program if need be. just be sure to separate the training by 48- 72 hrs.

Don't over do it. I did that once and I looked like I needed to walk with a cane for a week. :)

It wasn't a pretty site.
