I am bound and determined to lose weight and get back at least to my graduating weight 7 years ago, which was 135 lbs. I am now 189. I was 202. I went to my Dr. and she put me on phentermine. Not the horribly bad part of Fen-Phen, but it isn't great. I have never had to watch my blood pressure in my life, but I do with this, just to be on the safe side. My bp is by no means above normal but I am right at normal 120/80. I am usually 112/70, so it has risen but, I have lost a little over 10lbs. It curbs my appetite and actually gives me some energy. Anyway I need to know how many calories a day I should be shooting for. I was 1200 a day give or take, but reading this I see that is not good. I love lean cuisines and eat them for lunch or I will eat a whole can of soup. I am really bad about eating breakfast. And what about the after 7pm rule?? Help!?!?!?!?!?!

fill out your nutritional profile on this site for a calorie number to shoot for. do not neglect breakfast, it is more important than any other meal in the day. you are coming off a long night fast, and need energy to get your day started. as for the after 7pm thing, its more or less to just cut down on carb intake 1-2 hours before you are going to sleep. you dont need the carbs then, they will just be stored as fat once you crash.
