All,

I am 143lbs and have to seriously up my calorie intake to increase my weight to get to my 154lbs goal. I dont want to be super big but I think with my height of 5ft 6", 154lbs and a body fat % around 10-12% (aswell as being cardio fit) I will have what i want. I'm not yet there as I am struggling to get all the calorie intake I need. I am on protein shakes and a progain drink as well as eating good food. 6 meals in total a day. I can see it working when i stick to it but it is difficult for me to take in these extra calories.

I know i will get there. I just want to know that once im there will i have to continue with the same amount of calories and if so does it get any easy to consume them ?

Cheers,

Usually your maintenance calorie level is a bit lower than the amount you need to gain, but there is no magic formula, so it usually involves a bit of trial and error - usually adjusting your calories up or down no more than 250 per day to see what happens.

You do get used to a different calorie intake after a while, so it should get easier.

good luck
