How do I determine the amount of Calories my body needs?
and How much P, Carb, fat contribute to the amount of Calories?
I am 5'9, 170 lb. My goal is to be toned and define

Have you tried using the calculators here on ft? Some members have said they are not accurate, but it would be a place to start. It also breaks it down into P/C/F for you.

Oh it goes by some wild calculation like your height x your weight - your age + your shoe size or something like that...lol. Just kidding! Here is a link to a really good post about this very thing.

I have read the articles bb1 and azredhea mentioned, and the amount of calories needed match with the one suggested by this site. I would like to know the best percentage I can divide into for p/c/f? There are so many different ideas!
My goal is more definitions and toning! In this website the percentage are 65/25/10 Carb/P/fat
Any suggestion would be appreciated,

For losing bf and definition, this is an exceptable ratio. You will most likely do well following it.
