There are lots out there. depends on your goals, your metabolism, etc.
For a very basic formula - multiply your bodyweight by 10. That is a roughestimate of your Resting Metabolic Rate. That is the calories you need just to exist. Then add 400-500 for daily activities, that should be close to your daily calorie amount. Freetrainers nutrition will give you calorie amounts based on your goals.
A good starting point for pro/carbs/fat ratio is 40%/40%/20%, se how your body reacts to it and then switch more caRBS, LESS CARBS, ETCETERA.
fOR PROTEIN YOU WANT .5 - 1.5 G OF PROTEIN PER POUND OF lEAN TISSUE MASS. oOP, i HIT THE CAPS LOCK.
There are so many ways to calculate it, it gets confusiong. Pick one as a starting point, and work gradually towards those amounts. What I mean is, if you currently consume 2600 calories a day and you calculations say it should be 1800, don't go right to 1800 a day. the first week or so, drop maybe 100 calories daily, around 2500. The next week, maybe 100 again. If you do it too fast your body will panic and kcik into starvatin mode, shedding muscle and storing fat instead of shedding fat.
Same thing if you need to increase your calories, do it slowly so it doesn't just pile on as fat.
Good luck, hope this helps more than it confuses.
