goldengloves Posts: 690 Joined: 2003/09/19	2004/07/31, 10:47 AM The backstage press are was cool...Noone would let anyone go near mike but before the fight williams signed autographs for people and about 45 minutes before fight time he went to his locker room....I went to my seat during the laila fight....So I cant really complain First Evander Then Roy Now Mike Tyson All I can say, this seems like an end of an era for the aura of champions of yesterday and now it is time to pass it onto the young ones? Now onto Danny Williams, I gave him a shit of a chance yes....Especially since his plan was to back up when tyson was to throw a punch, which I thought would inevitably end in knock out....But williams held himself well and used his weight advantage to lean in onto the fragile tyson which is what I said would beat tyson but didnt expect it....I give major respect to williams though at the press conference afterwards though. Williams stated: "I beat a tyson of old not the same tyson 15 years ago" Atleast he isnt bragging saying he is the best, Very humble well spoken man much respect to him for not being a prick about it.... The excuse of mikes leg and everything else is just bull to me....Mike was on one knee at the count of 6 he could have gotten up and quit on his stool due to injury, He had no desire to even get up! Even after the fight he told roach thats it and roach said mike is finished....But after things cooled down roach said they would talk it over... Mike thanks for about 5 years of great boxing, Your time is over pass it on Tarver Taylor Mayweather WELCOME Signing off! Time to get some sleep

Mike got turded, Remember their was no fire in mike, It's all over Williams was fighting from :love: Tyson was fighting for dollar signs.....People need to remember this isnt tyson of the 80's my god he is 38!!!! That is way to old to be in the ring, He had a good run....

goldengloves Posts: 690 Joined: 2003/09/19	2004/08/04, 04:18 PM He is still like 34 million in debt to *ouch* He collected 2 million from the fight but from that 2 million, His promoters/managers/trainers took a cut and I will be damned but Tyson did have a entourage at the fight, Even though it has been said he dismissed them....

I think Tyson was still able to make alot of money from his fights because ppl still hoped he was the bomb, lewis was champ so they excused him for that. I doubt the public will forgive so easily with this lost. And WTF has he been buying to get that much in debt? lol.

I was reading on a site of mike tyson quotes that he wanted to fight a Silverback Gorilla. :laugh: "I paid a worker at New York's zoo to re-open it just for me and Robin. When we got to the gorilla cage there was 1 big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. Hellscream, Tyson blew his money on 11 mansions/million dollar cars and 500,000 dollar rugs along with with insane amounts of jewelry, I have a video of him in a NY jewelry store someone taped while he was their and he spent 10 million in the jewelry store and went to the clothing area and spent another million their!....The video is sad because he was so pressured and he gave into it all...
