Is it possible to gain lean muscle and lose fat while taking hydroxycut and whey protein simultaneously. Of course i am working out and doing cardio 30 mins. daily 6 times a week, on a low fat low calorie diet with about 20 - 40 % protein, from 1800-2000 cal. daily, and less than 20% fat. I want to do this the most efficient way possible, and would like to know what supplement combinations would be recommended. Thanks for any feedback.

Yes! Firstly I will deal with your goals, you want muscle gain and fat loss. This requires a very carefully balanced diet time and dedication. To gain muscle you need to place exactly the right amount of exertion to create muscle growth whilst taking in the correct balance so as to get muscle growth. The balance between over eating and under eating so you both drop fat and gain muscle is fine. In reality most people just oscillate between the two, and consequently get mediocre in both targets.
I find much better results by through bulking / stripping cycles. I bulk for a few months getting large muscle gains, then strip for a few months getting the rid of the fat and keeping the muscle. This has the disadvantage that I look fat for a while, then have to suffer with pathetic gains for a while, also if I stop training mid way through I just end up fatter and stronger. But I do get much better gains in both my goals by the end of a cycle. My advice, think it through and decide what’s best for you, but if you have not been regularly lifting better to take the slow route till you get regularity.
As for supplements, firstly the easy one, whey protein, this is just a dairy based (hence complete) source of protein. Use it to ensure high protein intake every meal (2-3 hours). And as always eat 5-6 times a day to keep your metabolism safely high, and fat deposition low and ensure there is a sufficient supply of protein for muscle growth. As for the hydroxycut, I would not advise taking it but look at my post in the supplements section (“supplements a summary”) I just added a bit about how it works.
