Hi! I am here to shed about 40 pounds, already lost 40 since my baby was born on Sept. 4th 2004...I just started the FT...seems like the workouts designed for me and all the rest days won't help me much, are the rest days important? Today is my rest day, and I feel like I am missing out on doing something for this body of mine. I am 38 years old and have a newborn and a 16 and 13 year old, back when I had my first children, I lost 110 pounds by working out every day, no weight training,no treadmill or bike, just Slim Fast and aerobics every day, and walking everyday as well. I know my age is against me now..hope I am not too old to get the look I want...I don't have stretch marks, and my skin still seems tight, but more cellulite than I have ever had in the past...that needs to go, any advise?? I was thin then but I wasn't strong or defined really. Will these workouts make me look stronger and more defined? I am hoping by spring of 2005????Is this possible?

Anything is possible if you work hard and stay committed. It is never too late and you are never too old to start. Good luck. Oh and yes, rest is VERY important.

Thanks hec, any advise on cellulite, or will it go away after I lose all this fat???:)I am now 173, my goal is 130. Is weight really that important on the scale. I step on the scale every day, well no, every time I am in the bathroom,my weight fluctuates all day, sometimes by 4 or 5 pounds! I went from a size 18 as of Sept. 30th, and now a 12..should I just go by my pants size instead, my goal is a size 6 by spring.

Stay away from scales. Use your clothes, mirror, tape measure, anything else to measure progress. The scale means nothing to me, as long as I look an feel good. I dont have any advice on cellulite sorry.

That's what I thought, thank you. I did start to measure for the last month, and have lost 8 inches in my thighs, and a few inches off everywhere else, but my waist is very slow going.
