Ok... so I'm not exactly new to training but previously, my training consisted of sparring and doing intense boxing routines with my trainer...
I'm not overwieght by any means but am looking to get more defined and lean. I'm 26 and am 119lbs.
Here's the plan I've created for myself:
MONDAY - morning cardio + legs
TUESDAY - morning abs + back + triceps
WEDNESDAY - morning cardio + shoulders
THURSDAY - morning abs + NIGHT OFF
FRIDAY - morning cardio + chest + biceps
SATURDAY - morning abs + legs
SUNDAY - DAY OFF
I'm open to changing my routine... adding, rearranging, etc. Any comments?

I ve been told to do weights first and if your going to do both try to put 6-8 hours between I would split it but thats just me. 3 days weights 2 days cardio. But mostly focus on the weights more hit am hard and heavy. (but dont hurt yourself lol):dumbbell:

You're doing legs on Saturday and then again on Monday? There's only one day off between.
If anything switch Friday and Saturday workouts to give yourself more time between leg workouts, but one day a week tends to work for many folks.

... one more thing Ecle5c,
if I'm switching my Friday and Saturday weight training routine, should I switch my Friday morning cardio with Saturday's morning abs? Usually cardio either consists of running or skipping (jump rope). Wouldn't that be too much on Friday... too much on my legs that is: morning running and then evening weight training.

I've never had a problem doing legs 3-4+ times a week while training total body. You just have to monitor your volume and recovery.
Nothing wrong with training legs twice a week, especially if its a lagging muscle group.
-------------- Iron and chalk.

Thanks for the feedback...
But Ecle5c, I hear what you're saying about switching Friday and Saturday's routine but was told doing legs twice a week is ok. It's my lagging muscle.

Depending on your goals twice a week does work. I'm trying to gain muscle mass and have been doing legs twice a week for a few months and have had great results.
Definitely at least switch your Friday and Saturday though.

That's up to you. What you're saying makes sense. Give it a try, if after the first week you don't like it then switch it up.

Whats the difference if you do cardio before weight training? Am I hurting myself or not performing to the best of my ability with the weights?

Doing cardio before weights takes doesn't allow you much energy for the weights at the end. I believe above that she is doing cardio early morning, then weights later in the day.
If you're talking about doing them in the same trip to the gym most agree that weights first then cardio.
