WHY YOU ASK? Because ta da in February (AFTER I get this old gal in shape) we are going to Cancuan for the first ever....time. SO, hopefully SOME good people out there who have been, can give me some great advice on things that are worthwhile doing/places to see/restaurants/what are good buys over there and so on! Can't wait! Hoping to catch some good advice - thanks to all who respond!

Hey workingoutgirl, I have been there several times and have family there.

Send me a personal email and I will get back to you with some nice, (off-tourist safe) spots you can enjoy. It's away from the hustle & bustle and shows the true beauty of Mexico.
