I am in the same boat as you. I have an active job (horse trainer/rider), and am tired at the end of the day, but my activity is not cardio-building and I am still flabby in the hips! I am also 30, and have found that my fitness is declining even though I am active 5 days/week. I find that I cannot lift a bale of hay anymore, and running 10 steps makes me exhausted! I am going to try working out regularly. If you want some e-mail motivation, we can keep track of each other!
My deal is that I get really motivated, and over-do the exercising the first few days, then I'm too tired and quit. So my new plan is to take it slow, only work out 3 days/week for a while, then step up the intensity, then the days. I am rehabbing a horse from injury, and can organize his training schedule... why can't I organize my own??!
