I just laid out what I eat versus the desired intake of calories - my goal is to add mass - so its 3,680 a day. My current calorie intake is typically 2,300.

I already do 2 meal replacement protein shakes and a protein bar as part of my 6 meals a day. I'm 46 years old - so that young man's appetite left me long ago.

Any suggestions, or should I modify my expectations of growth.

Just my opinion but I'd stay below the recommended calories. The easiest way to start gaining mass but keep fat to a minimum is to start by gradually adding to what you're currently using for your maintenance intake. You can do it by 3-500 calories a week and monitor your gains easier than by upping your consumption by 50% all at one wack. That way you can just keep tweaking and get to where you want to be.

What is your current weight and how did you calculate your requirements?

3680 is high even though not knowing your weight and height.
But like mike says, just add gradually, make sure it's protien and good carbs.
