hey everyone,
have you ever wondered why you can finish an entire bag of chips or a whole package of oreo cookies without actually meaning to? the whole concept of "you can't eat just one" is actually based on hard science.
sodium chloride (table salt) is the major culprit of the chips and refined white sugar is the culprit with the oreos.
when sodium chloride enters the body it is mistaken for naturally occuring sodium. since natural sodium comes along with various minerals and trace minerals, your body expects this to happen, but when it doesn't, the appestat(appetite sensor in the brain) will tell the body to keep eating in a desperate search for this much needed nutrition.
refined sugar has the same effect in the brain along with a laundry list of other degenerative effects in the body.
here's a short list:
premature death!
diabetes
certain forms of cancer
insulin disfunction
syndrome x....many others could be added, but this is scary enough.
wow! those sound like fun! they also sound like every degenerative disease found in our society. there's a really interesting article about insulin resistance and it's effects on the human body (caused by refined sugar, grain,k processed foods, etc). it's long and tedious for those of you who aren't a freak like me, but it's some pretty valuable information. go to mercola.com and type insulin into the search funtion and the first article that shows up will be called "insulin and it's metabolic effects" there are four parts to it and it's a lecture given by Dr. Rosedale, a respected expert in insulin, at the BoulderFest in Colorado.
happy reading!

this information and ALOT more like it can also be found in the 9+ hour audio series from Paul Chek titled "you are what you eat." this information should be taught in schools as early as possible. good luck with that though!

Mercola is an interesting guy...good info, but a bit over the top at times on some things. All in all, he is on our side though.

to secure his reputation, he kind of has to be. can't compromise just because you assume people won't follow your advice.

Another good example of the "can't only have one" is the nuts.
Notice when we used to eat salted and roasted nuts we had to finish the whole container (like chips).
When we now eat the raw unsalted nuts (like almonds/cashews) we only take a handful and sto there. It's amazing how processors (food producers) keep us eating their products.
-------------- Still trying to find out how to do the Hollywood Free Press.

i'm compiling a ton of information to write a full-length article for you guys that i'll finish as soon as possible. the article will be covering alot of the topics that i cover in my posts, but will be quite a bit more extensive. the title and content are a bit depressing/shocking but will hopefully be a wakeup call to all that read it. it's called "Road to Extinction" and will be covering topics such as: hormonal therapies and their effects on human reproduction, climate changes, processed foods, water toxicity/shortages, etc. i hope that you guys will embrace this information and question it as well. keep an open mind and don't worry, it'll be well referenced.
