Hello!
I have been sucessful for a couple months now, losing about 1-2 pounds per week. Now, for several weeks NOTHING:surprised:
What should I do? I've read to "adjust" your calories when you lose, but does that mean restrict even more, or less?
I have about 10 pounds to get to my goal.........and I am so frustrated.
Should I increase what I eat?
For a while I knew I was over training, and after having my metabolism checked, I knew it was true. My resting metabolism had gone down to 1000 calories...not good!!!
Am I just destined to stay at this weight? What the heck?
I would love some guidance.
Thanks alot
Rach

I don't track it like I used to, as far as calories, fat, and protein.....I guess I should start? But, here's what I usually have: right when I wake up I have my favorite... a bowl of cherries... about 2 cups.. and get on the treadmill for a run. After that, I have a smoothie that has one banana, 1 cup strawberries, 4 tbsp flax seed, 1 tablespoon coconut oil, and 1 scoop of whey. For lunch I have a can of tuna and a green salad. For Dinner I have a grilled chicken breast with a green salad and sometimes a little pasta.. plain, whole wheat. Snacks are cottage cheese, yogurt, almonds, apples, something like that. Sometimes in the evening I mix whey with water and drink that too. I drink plenty of h2o usually. Sometimes in place of the dark green salad, which is made with spinach... I have brocolli. Um, that's about all I am coming up with.
I hope this can help you help me:big_smile:

pinswess - It might not work for you but you might want to try cycling on and off with your fruit. I don't know of any scientific reason for it and never tried to find out but when I hit a plateau I lay off all fruit and processed foods like pasta and fill the gap with more of the fibrous foods and even oatmeal.

=============Mike, I was thinking about that. I do eat alot of fruit, but on one hand it's "good" food, but on the other???? I might do that, thanks:big_smile:
