Just saw an ad for this. As much as I can't stand the low carb fad, this looks like an interesting product. Something good to add to my high fat/protein shakes for better consistency, as well as a good option for later at night. That said, does anyone have thoughts on it? Nutritional content? Taste? Price?

add water to your shakes not milk- eliminating all added carbs, fat or use skimmed milk as there is no fat..
although milk does hold alot of sugars in its carb content, how about your product?
It depends on the goal here- I want to minimise fats and sugars so a sensible powder with water suits me (but milk is a nicer taste from time to time)
If you want to bulk up more- then the carbs and fat in the shake you make, is probably gonna assist you load up the dumbell easier every visit to the gym.

My mom loves this stuff. She is doing what she calls the "Healthy Carb" diet..basically eating good carbs in the form of fruits, veggies and whole grain products. She buys this milk all the time, and says it tastes like regular milk, but without the amount of carbs and sugar that regular milk has. Hope this helps

I generally make shakes with water, but they're a little too watery that way, which is generally okay (i.e. just for a protein or pre/post-workout shake), but I'm looking for something to add to my flax/PB/ON 100% shake.
My goal is to not eat carbs late at night and to not eat too many carbs and fats in the same meal. I don't really want to minimize much of anything.

Skim's still got the carbs, though that's good for other times/meals.
I checked out Carb Countdown. 3g carbs (plus Splenda), no fat, 4 extra grams of protein (not from soy). Pretty decent looking. Does cost an extra $1 for a half gallon, though (not surprised... the Atkins name is probably worth 50 cents). I think something good may have finally come out of this Atkins nonsense.

I really like the Carb Countdown Milk (especially the chocolate for a snack) - it is a little pricey but worth it.
