How vital is cardio excercises in actual body building? The reason I ask is I have a tight schedule and sometimes I have to skip either my cardio or my lifting workout for the day (but never both) and usually I opt to skip the cardio. I am in the 3rd week of a bulking phase in case that helps..... If I miss a few cardios will it kill my progress?

if you're looking to bulk up, doing less cardio is essential. it robs you of vital calories for growing, so try to keep your weekly cardio minimal. im doing a sort of modified bulking phase as well, and i only do cardio about once a week. so don't skip your weights if you have time restrictions in your case. Try to keep your actual weight workout to about an hour, and go from there..

Thanks!

I usually hit cardio about 2 times a week... and my lifting is for about 1-1.25 hours a day 4 times a week, and then on chest day it is for only about 45 minutes.

Thanks for the help :)
