How much cardio should you do to loose weight? How long daily and how often a week? I have read on here that doing it too long is counterproductive but then they said that 60mins is good. To me that is a long cardio session. Confused....:)
generally, after 45 minutes, your body starts to burn muscle as a form of exercise. Anything over this is usually counterproductive.
One thing for weight loss that is much more effective would be HIIT training. Do a search, and read some of the posts. I have posted on this before, as have many of the experianced members of the site.
