theresheis, I am in the same boat as you! I commute with my boyfriend to work for 1 1/2 hours each way daily and by the time we get home and stuff it is so hard to fit everything in. I am not sure how flexible your work is or what timespan you have for lunch, but i walk 20 minutes on my break with a coworker and sometimes on lunch break i speed walk with my boyfriend. It is true that cardio is best when done directly after your workout, we do that as well which puts us to bed pretty late at night. The second alternative is to do cardio on an empty stomach, that means first thing in the morning. But if you schedule doesn't allow it, just fitting it into the day is getting it done and you are doing the best you can!! You will see results either way! Good luck and hope this helped answering your question.

Don't worry gals, the most important thing about cardio is TO DO it and not when.
Fat loss is about burning more calories than you eat so doing it in the mornings or afternoons doesn't really make THAT big a change (when only talking about burning energy. About extra fat being burnt when doing cardio on an empty stomach, you got different opinions about.....)
