Howdy! As we cut down after a gaining phase at rate of one to two lbs. per week by doing more cardio, should we do cardio in the morning AND postlifting? Also I've used fit buddy to read about taking BCAAs precardio to prevent catabolism--so would anyone mind letting me know how many grams of BCAAs should be taken precardio:) And for the postlifting cardio, at what time during the lifting/cardio workout should the BCAAs be taken and how many grams:) THANKS!

during cutting, your cardio is used to cause a caloric deficit. i think doing cardio twice in a day would be a little too much, as you only want to cut cals down by about 250- 500. (but, depends on your diet). as for the BCAA's i dont know an exact amount.. i think it depends on the length and intensity of your workout/cardio, etc.

As far as BCAA's pre cardio, use as much as you can afford. 2-3 gr. would not hurt.
As far as cardio, be careful with it. Approach it slowly, if you do too much too early, you have nowhere to turn for caloric deficit but calories. This is not feasible at some point, and as I have pointed out numerous times, this will in fact backfire(cutting calories too low).
