My question is should a woman do her cardio exercises or her free weight (weight resistannce) exercises first, during her 3-day a week regular exercise program at the gym?
Start with the weights.. then move onto the cardio... there is a great thread (I forget which forum though) that gives a great explanation about cardio, when to do it and so on...

Tim is 100% right - do the weights first! The short version of "why" is because you want to use up the energy stored in your muscles (glycogen) BEFORE you do cardio. Then, when you get up there to do your cardio, your body will have to use fat as it's primary energy source.
