I've read on a few posts here that post-workout protein shakes should never be mixed with milk because it slows the absorption of whey into the body.
Ok, I know casein is a slow protein and whey is a fast absorbing protein but what doesn't make sense to me is why would casein slow down the absorption of the whey. To my thinking WHEY will be digested as WHEY and CASEIN will be digested as CASEIN. If I am wrong you are welcome to disprove me.
