Sure. Just buy milk and drink a big glass before bed. I go through 3-4 gallons a week by myself. Most of the decent MRPs have a good mixture of whey, casein (milk protein), and egg protein. The cool thing about casein is that it its a very complete protein that breaks down rather slowly so it almost has a 'time release' effect. This allows your body to absorb and utilize more of the amino acids.

A mixture will be your best bet.....alot of your MRP's as jb says do the trick just fine. Add a tablespoon of flaxseed oil, and it really slows down the digestion, and gives you the health benefits of Omega fats also.

I'd recommend proteinfactory.com but they seem to be embroiled in a quality-control issue...

i like the milk & egg protein from universal. 24g of protein and only 4g of carbs. there are absolutely NO artificial sweetners (ace-k, sucralose, stevia, nutrasweet, etc.), and it has a nice vitamin and mineral profile as well. the choc one tastes like moose crap, but the vanilla is tolerable. of course, i've never really have been in it for taste, mostly results...

You're probably not going to find a pure casein supplement or powder. Casein has a very bad taste on its own and tends to mix very thick. That's why most MRP's blend casein with whey, milk protein, egg and others - and it still comes out really thick. Milk itself is 20% whey protein and 80% casein, so if you're looking to get a lot of 'slow' protein, just mix milk with an MRP and some oil (olive or flaxseed - or Udo's Choice Blend) like bb1fit suggested.
