I just started taking cell tech today this morning at about 8am i ate a bowl of cereal and then took cell tech ( 2 scoops in 8 oz of water) followed by a glass of water. about half an hour later i took nitro tech (1 scoop in about 8oz of milk). At about 10 I my stomach became very upset and at about 12 noon I had some serious diarrhea. What should I do? Should I discontinue use? It says that I should drink the cell tech slowly. has anybody experienced similiar side effects? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hehe. Yeah, it doesn't happen very often. When I started taking creatine it gave me diarrhea too. But after a week it went away. I think I read somewhere that a small percentage of people that take creatine have that side affect. I guess we were the unlucky ones.

On taking your creatine, you should take it very first thing in the morning before you eat anything. Its more affective that way. I can't remember why, but there are reasons.

- Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.

Same here...pretty nasty. It USUALLY goes away after a week or so and MAY come back every once in a while. If it persists, stop and get checked out by a pro/doc. In the meantime, GO WITH THE FLOW BRO!!!

Well most creatine suppliers do say that a side effect of creatine can be diarrhea. I got that for about the first week of taking creatine also i have some nausia on and off. So its the creatine or it can also be what you ate the past couple of days. Watch how much milk you drink in a given time period it can lead to diarrhea.

Unless you are a heavyweight, 10 gr. of creatine may in fact be too much for you. Most doseages are 5 gr. Besides, you have to realize that with Cell Tech you are also getting 75 gr. of sugar with those 2 scoops. This will cause an insulin spike also. The best time to use this is post training when this (insulin spike)is needed. I would suggest 1 scoop, and do it post training with your protein drink.
