I think an "intermediate lifter" will get a look at how the body reacts to what they are doing, as well as a lot of techniques that they may or may not be utilizing.

I\'m sending this to let you all know that my long-awaited book, Muscle
Revolution, is now available.

I can\'t put into words how excited I am to finally release this information to
the world. Whether you\'re looking for program design for fat loss, muscle
growth, strength, or any combination, this book is for you. Everything from
nutrition, energy systems training, fatigue management, posture, etc. are all
covered. And Muscle Revolution unveils my latest, 12-week program titled the
\"Total Strength Program.\"

Here\'s what a few experts are saying about Muscle Revolution:

\"With the ability to combine academic research with real world in-the-trenches
training experience, Waterbury has broken all the rules and raised the bar with
Muscle Revolution. Whether you\'re a fitness professional or just a fitness
enthusiast, you need this manual in your library.\"
--Alwyn Cosgrove

“I think Muscle Revolution is as substantive a book as you’ll find on the
subject of building strength and mass for intermediate to advanced lifters. Once
you’ve tried the Total Strength Program, you’ll know exactly what I mean.”
--from the foreword by Lou Schuler

Here\'s the link to a recent interview with me about Muscle Revolution, along
with purchasing information:

Finally, my new website should be unveiled within the next month. Once it\'s
released, I\'ll be sending out a newsletter with tips, tricks, and great
products.

Happy Holidays,

Chad Waterbury

I'm fortunate enough in that I get certain goodies before they are released.

I highly recommend this book.

Yeah, programs for fat loss, muscle gain, etc...surely the 'secrets' and blockbuster routines that have been hidden for only the elite few finally revealed.

Everyone in the industry has learned to 'band together' these days to push each others agenda. They found out that if they fight each other, their sales are limited to their 'followers'...but a 'name' pushing someone else gets their name out there too, and increases sales all the way around.

Marketing techniques.....

Of course. You think Lou Schuler wrote the intro by accident?

But, I'd rather buy a book by waterbury than by some ghostwriter at flex.

And yes ron, you're right, there's not much "new and secret information" in these books. In fact, I'm sure you're at the same point I am where you can read an entire book like this and get nothing new out of it. You've probably been there since I started powerlifting. And yet, I still get promotions sent like this to my email. And I still read them. If I wasn't reading Chad's latest book, then I'd be have to open my human bio textbook. Ewwww.

I'm giving this book my open recommendation, and although I know Chad personally and get things like this for free all the time, I think I am fairly unbiased. I recieve nothing for my recommendation, as I doubt Chad read's this message board. And I still feel it would be a good addition to many peoples libraries. You may not get much out of it, but to an intermediate lifter, I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

And to beginners, I often recommend Lou Schuler's New Rules of Lifting. Not because Alwyn recommends it, but because it is an excellent base.

I have actually been doing this before you were ever thought of Wrestler, not just before you started lifting.

So tell me in all your 'experience', what is the 'intermediate' lifter going to get out of this book?

There are no secrets no matter what stage lifter you are. We are all limited by genetic factors. And muscle gain....Has anyone really gained massive muscle and become Arnold by reading a book with some weightlifting tips.

One of the very best 'gurus' said this years ago, Vince Gironda....Lift heavy things, put them down, eat, rest, repeat.... and this is all you can do. Your body/genetics limit all of us to certain points you are just not going to get past.

Guys like Arnold and Ronnie take thousands of dollars of steroids per month to keeep gaining. Thre is no book on the market than can do that.

And as far as being 'fortunate' to get stuff, I have been getting everything from supplements to books for nothing for a long time. Big deal...they simply want you to promote the stuff for them.

I wanted to get it... as I like his articles but then with shipping to Canada and exchange rate it would have been $80...
Then I found a good deal on dumbbells and so I decided to get that instead.
like bbift said there are no secrets, and all the book discuss the same exercises maybe the only thing that changes are the reps/sets #`s. But everyone is different and responds to different things.
I’ve noticed on myself that my body responds well to a split rather then TBW.
As a read I’d buy it for max $40 (total), since I still like reading about it.
And so far the most refreshing material that I have read was by Vince Gironda. No bull just plain and simple.
