I have a small question, is it ever a bad thing to change your routine too often? I have recently started to change my routine basically every 2 weeks. I have not seen any bad side effects to this but it just curiously came to my attention to ask this question as I do not want to be doing anything that will be detrimental to my progress. If anyone can give me a little insight into if this is bad or not please do.

I also have a little side question that has been kind of racking my brain. Is it detrimental to work out a muscle which has been bruised? I sometimes receive bruises from many of the sports I participate in, some of these seem to be pretty deep in the damage they have done. I jsut want to ensure that it is ok to continue to work that muscle before the bruise has healed up. Some of these bruises remain for up to a month or two, as I have gotten older my healing process seems to have slowed down exponentially. :(

By routine, if you mean the exercise for the muscle, no it is not a problem, actually better because by introducing different exercises for the muscle, it is actually not getting used to the motion. You will find that when you do repeat the same exercise after having changed from one week to the next, you see a big difference in stregnth.
I sometimes won't do a certain exercise for 2 weeks, then when I go back to it, what a difference.
Basicly my routine changes every week.

As far as the bruise, I can't comment.
