I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the workout program that I am following thru this ft site will change my workout routine at all. I have read the message boards and learned that changing you workout routine every so often will keep your muscles from adapting to your workout and prevent the slow down of results. I have only been doing this ft workout plan for about 3 weeks but I was just wondering if this workout plan that ft gives for free will change up the routine at all or if I just have to change it myself down the road when it is time?

You can use the site as a template I personally don't like the routines given out for a few reason but did start off using it as a template.
I go 5 weeks and change up but I keep the big lifts squats, deadlifts, flat bench, Chin-ups, Pull-ups and Dips.
For me or at lest at the point I'm at it's not needed to stop them or change them because I keep gaining on them but it's all the other stuff I change like curls, lunges, pull downs, rows, Fly's and ect.
I believe in the big lifts and sticking with them and you can change them up to by change reps, rep speed, rest in between time and ect.
I don't believe in doing dumbbell curls every week after Chin-ups this is where a change of lift is needed the secondary and third lift routines you do after the big lifts.
It's just how I see things because if the big lifts are where I will gain the most and I'm still gaining at them then why stop!
I don't even think I'll stop the big lifts when I decide it's time to just maintain the strenght I have gained just in fear of letting it go for something eles for 5 weeks and lose what I earned.
Anyway I think there are the basics to lifting and you need to work with them in changes by changing reps and suck or even adding a super set in and for the other stuff mix it up ever 5 to 8 weeks.

The free version is good...but nothing like the pro version..if you can swing it pro is the way to go...lots of change ups in routine...they have a deal going right now that if you purchase some FT gear and send in a photo...they'll give you a years membership...pretty good deal...there is a post about it in the introduction forum by george.
Good luck ag:)
