I just priced GNC's own brand of whey protein($50 for 96oz) and creatine shakes($50 for 40oz). They have a deal: buy one product/get the second a 50% off. Does anybody know of any cheaper substitutes, (without sacrificing quality) or is this brand's price about as good as it gets? My search on this site turned up nothing on this question.

The whey protein is pretty expensive ($50 for 5 pounds). Why don't you look at ordering from the internet: www.netrition.com.

i know you can get creapure creatine(the best on the market in my opinion) on special for 600g for $30.
even the protein with the discount (10# for $75) sounds pretty steep. not knocking GNC's quality, but im sure you can get better for better. just have to do a little investigating...
