my question i posted is below on the board.....heres my leg work out 5 sets squate 15x135 ,2 sets 12x225, 2 sets 315x10 and a final set of 6x390 . single leg extensions with 60x15 , leg curls 90x12( or falure) the leg press start with one plate on each side: do 12 add a plate and so on till i hit where i can't do 12 clean reps then i stop then i go run stares....anything else that can help me get a tuck......???

ok 1st of all i'm not gay just so u guys know......my question is i'm a big guy ( 6'1'"235lbs) My problem is not getting the girls up .it me having to do a back flip(also called a standing tuck)! i'm thinking my problem is my legs and abbs are a lil weak to get me completly around( i land short)i'm gonna try to do more reps and squates and legs presses to get them leaner but besides that anyone have in suggestions??

I am a cheerleader however i know how you feel because we don't have guys on our squad and i am the strongest base we have so it sucks. But i also do most of the gymnastics too. I would have to say really work on your arm mucsles because that is also what helps you get around. Your legs do help a lot so make sure you can have the power to flip yourself over. I am able to do a back flip with ease, however i am not the smallest girl. I am one of the biggest so if i can do it i think you can do it. Make sure you work both upper and lower body. I am able to do 295 on my legs so maybe that helps. Are you really flexible?? That also might play a part into this too.

right now i cheer for my college, i am trying out as of this weekend for a new school( middle tennessee state university) I'm pretty flexable i mean i can't do splits or anything but i don't pull muscles or anything. I can get around howvere i leand short, i know i don't throw my arms like i'm soposed to but still i think my lower body is too heavy my quads are like 27 in in diameter??

If you land short (if it's what i think you mean - you hit the floor b4 ur feet touch down properly) then its cos u aint goin round fast enough and/or u aint jumpin high enough. Remember - Arse Above Head! Works every time!

It normally does not matter on how big a person is. I agree with Kalanchoe though. You have to be able to get around fast enough and jump high enough. Those are one of the big facters in doing a back flip.

lol...well it is (I think) mostly self-confidence yeah other things play factors however if you don't think that you can do it, then you never will be able too.

thanx again.....but i think i found my problem though. i stoped doing reverse crunches and abbs. i would just do high cable crunches to the front and side for maintance..........i'l just work on the crunches expecially reverse ones lol neeed all the help this big body can get lol
