I started weight training last spring after loosing weight via weight watchers. Ive been developing really nicely... arms are a lot bigger and chest has started to separate and i'm getting that diamond shape divet in the middle.
Anyway, recently i've noticed that when I stretch out by holding arms above me and leaning way back a few hours after a chest or arm workout, the inside of my chest muscles makes a popping noise. Its almost like cracking my back but its located in the center chest area. Anyone know what causes this? Its not painful or anything like that.. its actually kind of fun lol...
I experience this in my chest (above the sternum) as well. I have never checked into it though. I usually get it more when I haven't worked out for week or so. This week I got it after a great back workout. I feel really tight until I "pop" it. I put my elbows back and bow my chest out. Its really strange but does feel good and release tightness.
