Anyone have any good ideas for a chest workout?? I want to try something new different than my usual.
my usual is..
machine incline bench press (but not smith machine)
declined barbell press
dumbell flat bench press
standing cable crossovers..
is that pretty good for usual?? i want to get an overall chest development on my chest workouts.

Looks good but I do NOT like machines, but that is me. I would drop the cable crossovers, imo they really are a waste of time. Add db flyes both incline and flat flyes. Otherwise it looks good.

I agree with 7707mutt, flyes should be included. I stopped crossovers and went to flyes. I get more results this way.

I'll swear by heavy incline flies, it hits the upper chest so well(an area some neglect). Every few weeks, switch up dumbells with barbells and vice-versa...keep the muscles guessing. Good luck.

incline barbell bench w/ a smith machine.
dumbell bench press
declined dumbell flies
dumbell bench flies.

I seem to have a problem isolating my chest. I do Machine incline press, seated machine flyes, and standing cable crossovers and all I go home with are sore shoulders and arms. Any suggestions?:(
