If I have not mistaken chin up is an exercise wherein you lift your weight and pull it up towards the bar on either side.

It is for the back . But I recently heard that this exercise is good for developing biseps.

Since I am looking for good biseps should i do this exercise with my back routine or biseps routine.

A chin-up is a mulit-joint exercise that will train your biceps in conjuction with other major and minor back and arm muscles. If your looking for a functional biceps exercise then the chin-up is your deal. If your looking for a huge body building mirror monkey bicep then maybe you should try some isolation exercises like DB curls or preacher bar curls.:)
