just to make it clear, CKD diet is a state of ketosis which is maintained for roughly 5 days followed by a two day carb up period, then a rapid carb depletion workout.

Ketogenic dieting is not for everyone. I firmly believe those who do best on this type of diet have some level of insulin sensitivity. I also believe that folks who respond best to this diet have battled weight problems all their lives.
