How much coffee should one drink a day. I have heard many different theories on this subject; some that say you should not drink coffee at all, and some that say coffee, in moderation, is good for you (has antioxidents).
It would help me a lot to know about how much coffee is good for you. I love coffee, and have limited myself to 3 cups a day for a while now.
I would like to have those 3 in the morning, and another before I work out in the afternonn (I usually need the boost).
THanks for you input, I really appreciate it!

I think tea is much better for you on the antioxidant front. I need my coffee though to keep my sanity; I view it as my one remaining vice, if only for its effects of teeth discoloration.
A couple of points to raise though, be extra careful if you are on diet pills caffeine is one of the (commonly disguised) active ingredient in many pills. Someone I know actually spent a whole bunch on diet pills (who’s primary active ingredient was caffeine) at the same time they changed all their coffee to decafe! So you might be getting more than you thought.
Also caffeine and creatine should not be taken at the same time try looking at,

for the explanation.

Thanks Ed,
As for the antioxidant issue, I did read on a website that it had something like 25 times the antioxidants than green tea. It may be misinformation, so I wouldnt take my word for it
As far as tea goes, I have a couple of cups of decaf tea a day to.
Was not aware of the creatine issue, good to know, thanks

I don't know, I've not really looked into the antioxidant issue myself, I think I got my info from a tea commercial so you are as likely to be right as me! Hopefully someone who knows will post on this.
