Y'all ever hear that it's not good to drink very cold water, especially during workouts? Some fool told me it can cause cramping or something like that. I can't remember exactly what he said; I was too busy doing bench presses while he was eating a bag of pork rinds and drinking a Pepsi.

Yes if your stomach is empty and you drink very clod water fast you can get a cramp. But I do not like warm water so I always drink it cold, but slowly

I read that once in one of those tree hugging, dirt worshiping magazines, but I can't remember the logic behide the theory. That same magazine told me its not healthy to eat grilled food either. I don't read that magazine anymore lol.

Cool water is great Cccccold water is not so great when working out, cuz your body is hot very hot maybe, air temp. plays important roll here two. Your internal system turns on the chiller,, if you don't know what I mean next time you are working out and I mean hard, you are soaked with sweat reach down to your upper stomach place your hand flat on your skin your stomach will be cold. This is your chiller at work when you drink really cold drinks at this time it throws your chiller out of whack so it slows down and you inturn get hotter. Sounds stupid but its true for the most part I am sure you can find a much more technical answer somewhere but this one works.

Yes, you should drink cool water and not cold water. It could actually put your body into shock, although, I haven't met anyone that this has happened to. All I know is I get a lot of safety classes on this subject while here in Japan.
