Well the freshman 15 is true... and I need to get rid of it ASAP!! I'm going to be a lifeguard again this summer and I need to get back into shape and lose weight!! Does anybody have ANY advice to give me?? I'm 5'8 and like 165...yikes! i have never wanted to weight this much. is there a way to lose weight and still be able to drink, too?? Or no? I need any help available! Thank you very much.

As much as I like a good beer or an Irish whiskey, Alcohol is a double edged sword when it comes to weight loss. First, Alcohol is a depressant and slows down the metabolism. Second, the calories gained are empty and do little for your nutritional goals. Daniel
