I've heard one of the biggest first impressions with girls is how you smell, I am running out of my cologne so I was wondering what you all think the best smelling stuff is to get? -------------- If Satan ever tries to remind you of your past, just tell him of his future! |

Try Fahrenheit. I've had nothing but good luck with it.

I use Emporio Armani, but only enough that a woman won't smell it unless she's really close to me. I suppose it's more of a "seal the deal" thing for me rather than a first impression....haha. I agree with mzakal, I don't want to smell a guys cologne just because I'm standing across from him talking to him. I should be able to smell it when I hug him or lean in close to him while flirting or whispering, etc. If you hold your arms straight out in front of you, I don't want to be smelling colonge unless I'm close enough to you to be within the range of your elbows.
As for the scent, my favorite for men without a doubt is Joop. -------------- ~Jennifer http://www.gwindalyn.com If you dont stand for something, you will fall for anything. |

I like an oldie, Preffered Stock. My wife loves it too, so this is also from a womans point of veiw. And as mentioned, very lightly. -------------- As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it. Ron |

Hi Karate!!! remember that one? Most of you are not old enough.
I don't use it...I am alergic to most mens and womens cologns. I usually have to leave the room when someone is wearing it. -------------- You can walk to anywhere you want, it only takes time. Ivan Montreal Canada (aka SpongeBob Square Pants to some!) |

Each and every scent smells different on each and every body. Our bodies have a scent of their own and cologne mixes with that. I have liked a lot of colognes that didn't smell anything like they did on paper once I wore them for a few minutes. I'm old fashioned I guess, but after everything I've smelled for the last 20 years, I still like the fresh, clean scent of Old Spice. My second favorite, another older one, Canoe. The only newer one I truly like is Obsession. Like the others said though, there should only be a hint of scent, not a blast.-------------- ~Victoria~ ...There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.--Beverly Sills |

I use Pi (spelled like the greek letter) by Givenchy. It has the slightest scent of vanilla and is very subtle (can't stand strong colgnes because they make me sneeze)
Girls and even guys constantly ask what i'm wearing and haven't had 1 person not like it. Been wearing it for years now. |

I usually use Nautica sport (yea not the greatest stuff) but the last time I decided to change colognes I started to use Aqua Di Gio by Armani... seemed to only get good reviews. Expensive tho...

Kenneth Cole makes a great cologne forget the name. I got a sample the last time I bought my regular Hugo Boss cologne. Hugo Boss is good.
I used to use a Perry Ellis cologne that isnt in the market anymore and in my opinion, girls went craziest over that one. I personally like the Boss one better though. |

ACK! Please PUUUUHLEASE don't use Fahrenheit. heheheh I'm so sorry if it upsets you rockandroll. I went out with a really cool nice fun great guy once. At the end of the date I asked him what kind he used. He said Fahrenheit. I never went out with him again because he REAKED. But, that is also just "my" opinion. There have to be girls out there that like it, just not me. hehehehe ...

on a normal day I use AXE (Orion).
If I'm going out on a date with my wife I use JAZZ by Yves Saint Laurent, its a little more expensive, but reasonable, and not overpowering. |

Gosh, so many colonges to choose from. I like passion by Elizabeth Taylor and Curve, both are for men. I like a guy who smells nice but not overpowering. Just a light scent as he walks by makes me take notice and I will look twice. Some scents can be a real turn on also.

I like Safari by Ralph Lauren smells really nice but I also like Obsession. What I find a turn on is that the guy is actually wearing cologne and it isnt brut 45 or old spice (no offense to those that wear them)........that tells me he actually takes the time to pick out what he likes and likes to smell nice.......and that says alot about a guy......I like it when he wears just enought to where I still smell him when he leaves the room or if we are snuggling I can smell him on me.........that is what I like.-------------- you can lead the horse to the water but you can't make them drink..... ~lynnoakdale |

What I've learned from this board is that the men are pretty much all unique in what they buy, the women suggested none of the ones the men own, and some of the women not only disagreed with the other women, but disagreed with themselves.
My conclusion is that I will wear every cologne mentioned here, switching every day, until I start seeing the chicks go wild. Then I'll stick w/that one :D O come on!
