Derek Poundstone has just taken 4th in the IFSA World Championship. This is the highest any American has ever made it since the IFSA/WSM split, and puts him behind (in order) Vasyl Virastiuk, Misha Kokylaev, and Big Z Zydrunus Savickas (the 3 of whom happen to have been in the top 3 in the past 5 or so years).

He finished just 2 points behind 2nd place, and 1 point behind 3rd making this contest a huge fight.
