I'm sure some of you habe seen the commercial stating
" Stress raises cortisol.....cortisol increases belly fat".
The commercial states that a pill reduces cortisol which in turn will cause you to lose fat around your belly.
Do you know if this is true and and if so....is it safe?
Thanks in advance for comments.

False IMO. You can not what so ever spot reduce fat, Even The Rock claimed on TV that you can and I don't believe it because if it where true then it would be known to all how to do it and we would all be doing it!
No way in Hell I can believe that the hardest and last place fat will fall off is where some magical pill or diet can make it happen.
Oh then again for 50 bucks I can mail you my secret posion LOL Just Kidding!

vdawnw, to my knowledge, stress does raise cortisol, which creates belly fat, however as posted above, you cannot spot reduce. If your feeling stressed, there are things you can do for free to reduce stress, rather than paying money for a pill, which may have major side effects.
Meditation, yoga, long baths, and exercise are just a few ways to reduce stress in a healthy way.
