As already mentioned...you can add some fruit....like apple chunks.
Another really good snack with cottage cheese is to add a little bit of yogurt. Be really careful about the sugars and carbs if you are doing the low carb thing. I use the Dannon light and fit...(or any light, non0fat yogurt) One whole container of yogurt has 0 fat, 14g carbs, 11g sugar, and 8g protein, but only use HALF a container and one serving of lowfat cottage cheese (1/2 cup has 2g fat, 5g carbs, 3g sugar, and 12g protein. One of my favorite flavors (all are good!) is Vanilla...it tastes like a really good, fattening dessert!!
