Anyone have recipes for it? I tried it with some garlic and butter spray... didn't care for the flavor too well.

Thanks if ya do!

I don't know how anyone can eat that stuff!! LOL...It is so gritty. I bought it once by mistake not knowing what it was.

I love couscous. Ususally when I make it I use low fat/sodium chicken broth to cook it in. Chop up some onions and boil them in the broth, sprinkle in some black pepper...Yummy! I have also mixed some BBQ sauce with it and that is good too. The chicken broth is the key...otherwise it tastes like cardboard.

hhhhmmm....maybe it was the type I tried. It was a soup. Is there a difference? I am always looking for new healthy things.

I have hever heard of a couscous soup. I am not sure what you tried. The couscous I use is just dry (looks kind of like large grains of sand ;-) ). It is not for everyone, but I like it. It is quick (only the time to boil the liquid +1 minute to cook the couscous), easy (just add and stir) and tastes good. You can even use dehydrated chopped onions or veggies if you dont have time to chop. The key is really the chicken broth. Like I said, it is not so great with just water then you have to add butter and other stuff to give it flavor. With chicken broth, there is enough flavor. Let me know ifyou try it.

couscous is like the smallest pasta you can imagine. Try flavoring it was garlic, salt, and pepper, and putting it inside stuff- use it instead of rice in cabbage rolls.

Thanks guys! I've gotta do something with it, cuz even with butter and all that other "bad" stuff, it just doesn't taste right. I'll try the chicken broth thing and some frozen veggies mixed in.
