Ok, I know this is pretty bad but I am doing it anyway..just wanted a little feed back on how much I would possibly lose. I need a severe kickstart to my diet/exercise plan. I am also going on vacation and 2 and a half weeks and need to fit into a bikini (doh!) Anyway..a little of my stats...5'8, 170(pretty much evenly distributed fat in my body - mostly in stomach, butt, leg area otherwise) I haven't exercised in over 6 months but I have a way (genetically) of losing weight at a pretty good speed once exercise becomes a factor in my day to day life. Ok, well here is my meal plan for the next few weeks...
BREAKFAST - 2 eggs
LUNCH - plain tuna(no mayo) on romaine (no dressing just that)
DINNER Chicken breast(trimmed/no skin) and green beans
I will also have no soda/coffee etc...just sugar free Red Bull and lots of water.
TOTAL cal intake would be no more than 500 and carbs less than 20/per day.
My exercise plan is this (for the next couple weeks)
I will go to the gym every morning and every afternoon every day for two weeks while on the diet.
Both times I will do the following...in this order
10 min warm up
40 min weight training (rotate upper/lower body every day)
60 min cardio
Now...how much weight would I lose...of course I would not keep this up for the long run..as I said..just a CRASH DIET. I will take all necessary vitamins.

You have gone off the deep end. Consider this:

You will probably pass out.
You will continously be cold.
You will not be able to stay awake half the time.
You will probably not be able to maintain this 500 calorie nonsense.
Your vacation will be ruined because you will be the walking dead.

May I be bold enough to say you are being stupid? Really, you know better. This routine is akin to what an intermediate anorexic would use.

Good. God.

Your kidding right? Do you have any idea the damage your about to do to yourself?

This is not the correct way to loss body fat, ever. Any weight lost over the next two weeks is going to be either water and lean muscle tissue. Your body will jump into starvation mode, storing your calories as fat while eating up muscle. Sure the scale will say you went down, but all you really achieved is gaining a higher body fat percentage.

Don't look for short term results that will harm your long term goals.

Plain and simple eating just 500 cals and doing just normal activity, let alone doing the workout you have planned will most likely cause you to pass out....

Hard to beleive people do this to themselves.
Please, let us know how you make out if you do that.

Noooooooooooo don't do it. When I was being stupid with my food, I would only eat 1000 calories a day, this made me feel cold all the time, if I tired to exercise I’d feel dizzy and sick. Yes I lost a lot of weight but it was mainly muscle and my body became very weak. My body fat percentage was higher then it is now and now I eat loads. You may as well just lose weight the sensible way because honestly just eating 500 calories will make you look and feel like crap.

Ok, maybe I won't go that low in calories...it did sound kind of silly as I was typing it out but how about like 1500cal a day with still no carbs? And what is the best thing to do for sore muscles? I know it is good to work them every other day but I need to work out even if they are still sore...would Alleve be ok? Thanks for all your input too! Sorry I sounded so desperate! :)

You will be better off just focusing on two muscle groups a day and giving the others a break. Remember, you burn the same amount of calories doing 6 workouts spread between two muscles groups as you would doing 6 workouts between 6 muslces groups.

The break time for each muscle group will allow you to heal, grow more and in the end help you burn fat more efficently (each lbs of muscle = 50+ calories burnt for free!).

I wouldn't worry so much about carbs and them making you gain weight. Most of the initial weight lost from "low carb dieting" is water weight anyways. Just make sure you eat nutrional foods for your carbs like mixed veggies and whole rolled oats.

You should browse this site, because it is evident that you don't know much about weight loss, proper or not. You will learn some valuable tips, as I have.

Sorry, but you are far too late to expect to lose any sort of weight above 5 or so pounds. I have lost 12 myself, and I started my "diet" (lifestyle) change in September.

Slow and steady wins the race. Enjoy your vacation as you are now, and wear a sarong if it bothers you that much. You will enjoy it much more when you are alert and energetic.
