I didn'tknow where else to post this but..
Yesterday i did mostly cardio and last night i had this horrible dream that it was snowing and i was riding in a car and the driver kept telling me to get out and run errands. well i was naked and my body looked like an over exagerated muscle suit. Then this 2 headed cat monster thing kept trying to attack my legs. I know that snow means renewal and riding in the car means to be driven(goals). normal cats in dreams mean sexuality, but what about 2 headed ones? and the body suit? has anyone else had funky dreams after an intence work out?

I didn't have a wierd dream, but I had a dream that motivated me. I dreamt that my husband and I went to the beach. It was a beautiful hot day, and instead of wearing a tank top and jeans (my normal when it gets above 85, as I own no shorts) I was at the beach in a baby pink string bikini, and boy did I look good!!! Probably won't be a reality this year, but next year they better have lots of pink bikinis for me to choose from!!!

I get REALLY f'd up dreams whenever I have too much dairy before I go to sleep, especially ice cream. Don't know why, couldn't even begin to explain.

my strangest dreams tend to come after eating spicy food. once after eating habanero peppers i dreamt i was hungry and in a gas station, but i didn't have any money and all i was wearing was socks, so i was trying to stuff oatmeal cream pies into my socks and walk out of the texaco with them. and...i'm out.

I think the two main types of sleep are slow-wave, orthodox sleep, which allows our body to replenish itself; and dream sleep, otherwise known as rapid eye movement (REM). Both of which are affected by everything you eat and every thing you do.
I read an article once by Dr. Robert Strickgold, a psychiatrist (I think at Harvard?) It said that dreams are the way our body clears out the mind. The really strange dreams come when the mind slips an experience into the wrong box.
I'm guess that if food and exercise fuels the brain that they very much can affect the way it processes during REM sleep.
But I don't know...I could just be making that up.
