My trainer suggested that I start taking creatine. I started shopping around but there are so many manufactures and some MFG's have more than one type. I started working out two months ago after more than 10 years of being lazy. What is the best type of creatine to buy. Thanks for the help.

IMO cell tech is very overpriced. There are other high quality creatine products out there that cost much less and work just as good. I use prolabs creatine monohydrate. I get like 600 grams for 20 bucks. I mix it with juice.
Works just fine.

Mikecan is right on it. Cell tech is not bad, it works and if you have the money then go right ahead...but there are tons of other good creatine brands that are a fraction of the price of Cell tech. Go to www.dpsnutrition.com if you don't mind ordering stuff online.

I've used Cell tech, Prolab (creapure creatine, quality stuff), HSC brand - lemon squeeze flavor. All of these seemed to work fine and I didn't have any stomach problems from them.

If you can afford it Pinnacle Juiced Creatine is the way to go.. Although I dont prefer GNC Pro Performance products, but for a cheaper buy, id go with creatine monohydrate.. its around 20 bucks for 100 servings.

Stick with the good, old fashioned basic white powder. It's the cheapest, most versatile, and the only one to have withstood years of tests. IMO, Creapure brand from Germany is the best: very clean and pure. Several companies use it, such as Universal and Prolab.

GNC is just overpriced, and sometimes they have employees with no clue what they are talking about. I wouldnt worry about the effectiveness of their basic supplements, though.
