Will creatine cause kidney stones or any other kidney problems in the future? I've used creatine before and had no problems and I'm now thinking about using it again. Thanks

Unless you have a pre-existing medical condition, there should be absolutely no problems whatsoever, just remember to drink enough water. At least 120 oz. worth.

Most of the stuff I've heard about creatine causing kidney damage comes from people who have no idea what they're talking about. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that these myths are still flying around. But, if people still beleive these myths and are that lazy to not do there own research, then it's there loss.

I am 27 and have suffered with kidney stones for 10 years. I've had alot of them, but been stone free for almost a year and I have been on creatine and it has not caused a stone for me.

See? That's proof right there, hey dougherty, do you think that the creatine may be helping? I wouldn't doubt it. There are so many positive benefits to creatine.

WOW- this article was written by a complete moron. Drug dependency? Ethical issues? Give me a break. And another thing that made me laugh. This author quoted 2 studies throught the whole article, and one of them is from there own damn website. This is another junk article that capitilizes on the medias overkill on supplement worries. Whoever thinks this article is legitimate, do a search on Pubmed and you will see countless REAL studies that back the positive effects of creatine. At least I got a good laugh in for the day.

I found a better website. www.absolute-creatine.com
They're not trying to sell anything, in fact they freely admit that there needs to be more research done on creatine but they offer some "current" ideas on the pro's and con's of creatine. I tend to agree with most of what they're saying.
Just my thoughts on the subject.
