can anyone point me in the direction of a good place to buy creatine in the uk and also which brand is better to get if there is a difference. im a little unsure whether i should start taking it yet as i still have excess fat on my chest and stomach area , i am eating a fairly healthy diet and have lost weight slowly but surely over a period of about 18 months however i find my energy levels are low. i read that creatine can help with energy levels so it sounds good for me in that respect. at the moment i exercise monday -friday including free weights, jogging and rowing.should i wait till i lose more fat ? i am 5`10 and approx 11st 11lb

theres a lot of stuff about what type has better uptake and whether or not to have a loading phase and cycles etc... there is plenty to search via fitbuddy...
reading many uk magazines i've found plenty of conflicts like a company producing a serum as it's better but then finding the body can't absorb that particular prepararation easily and then you have to buy it micronised as bigger particles can't be broken down ... but hey, you try finding it not micronised these days??? anyway believe me and not big words and technical jargon ,, as follows;
)holland and barret 1 kilo £39.99 they sometimes do it 50% off in sales- it must be due up soon as it hasn't been on sale for a while(compare all other company prices like maximuscle etc) it's creatine monohydrate powder- forget pills they are small and not economical..
)loading is not important but i do 5 teaspoons a day for a week there after just one in 8 week cycles.
)take alone with pure juice or water. like grape- it helps aid absorption
)don't take after or with protein(give it an hour or more) as it interferes with absorption.
)before or after training, it's not so important but take it. most people do say after
)if you are over 90 kilos then take 2 teaspoons
)you must drink plenty of water, like 2 litres plus a day
)i personally put on 5 pounds i think in water weight within a week- ultimately about 8 pound in 4 weeks
)it takes me about 3 weeks to lose the water weight off cycle
)measure yourself before cyclying and again 2 weeks in and again 4 weeks in- for instance my maximum is my bicep at 14 1/2'' goes up to nearly touching 15 3/4'' currently
)it will make your muscles hold water, softening the action of movement somehow, enabling you to easier do that extra one rep or scrap of extra weight. just a little but you will know that you can achieve extra reps thus making easier progress- i can't explain it but it's chemical in the muscle not the head
)it doesn't do anything to your mind and is not a drug- it isn't mood enhancing or nothing just water retaining in the right place.
)when you buy the stuff read the label if you don't buy my reccomendation because they do flavoured stuff and advertise badly like....
)pure creatine in grape flavour- cannot be pure 100% as it has a grape flavour, this flavour is not creatine check ingredients list... if it comes mixed with proteins or carbs it is not 100%, if it's proteins it's absorption will be bad anyway.
