i've been taking creatine for 2 1/2 weeks now, but still i'm not very sure of how to take it.. i always take creatine with a packed apple drink. i've read articles saying its a good idea to take it w/ some sugar? since fresh apple juice is really hard to find here, is packed juice good enough?...i've read 35g of sugar in its nut.cont.

I think the sugar/creatine thing is much overrated. I personally have been using creatine for quite a long time, and I simply mix it in water before I leave for the gym and mix with glutamine right after training. I do not think it necessary to use the sugar, and I think after all the hoopla is done over this, this is exactly what will come out in the end, the fad is not necessary. Bodybuilding is a very scientific, yet very simple sport. They keep trying to outdo themselves with more technology, research, etc., but in the end, common sense pays off. My take, just take it. 5 gr. before, and 5 gr. after.

No, L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and totally tasteless. Great for recovery.
