Hello all, I normally take my creatine with water and straight down. I have been reading that taking it with grapefruit, grape juice, gatorade / carb drink, and or DEXTROSE is more beneficial? If so how is that? and is DEXTROSE more effective then the carb drinks and juices?

The drinks you have mentioned are sugary. They garner a insulin response by your body. Doing this cuases the creatine to be shuttled into the muscle cells better. You can also add a R+ alpha lipoic acid supplement to the regmine. ALA works as an insulin mimicker it uses a different pathway than insulin the glut4 receptor to shuttle glucose into the cell. I use AST hyper glucose transport system ALA. I think BB1 will give you a better synopsis and sugest buying dextrose. Here ya go Ron its all yours. _- mike

An even better option now may be CEE. No insulin spike needed period.

Thanks for the post guys. bb1 I read your, "CEE Creatine supplement log" and must say that I will give it serious consideration for a creatine option. thanks again guys.
